Opatija, Croatia

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your chauffeur and depart to Opatija (an approximately 3 hour ride). Upon arrival, accommodate in a 5 * hotel. Enjoy leisure time, relaxation, or recreation. Croatian Monte Carlo, Opatija, is a synonym for luxury. It is the right choice for all who want to spend holiday in a spirit of tradition. 4th day

Opatija, Croatia

Breakfast at the hotel. The day is used for leisure and entertainment venues. Opatija with its rich history and a picturesque surrounding has many places to be visited. Once in Opatija, it is worth to spend time on the beach or to visit its beauties. The renaissance, the venetian, and the gothic architectures, freedom of expression, playful baroque and classic styles. These styles completely different,have been realized in buildings. Opatija is one of the most popular destinations forsightseeing in Croatia since the 19th century when the Habsburgs turned it into one of the Europe’s most popular destinations.This is where noblemen and aristocrats enjoyed the moments of peace and quiet away from courts and daily politics. 5th day

Rovinj, Croatia

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, meet with a private driver and reach the city of Rovinj (2 hours approximately). Your accomodation is in a previously chosen 5 * hotel. The rest of the day is for leisure time or individualvisitto a picturesque town north of Istria. On the sea side, the city is protected by high and rocky coast line with house walls built on the rocks. The mainland consists of sturdy walls that protect and have remained preserved until today. The entarance to the old city through a triumphal arch of Balbi puts us travelling back in time. All these lovely streets will take you at the mountain top, to Church of Santa Eufemia (called Smokes by people), the largest and the most important monument in the city. Overnight stay.

6th day

Rovinj, Croatia

Today is your gourmet day! Enjoy a private tour of Grožnjan, also known as the town of artists with about 20 galleries and art ateliers. It is also the initiator of an International Summer Film School and the International Cultural Centre of Croatian Musical Youth. Next is a visit to Motovun. This is the best preserved medieval Istrian fortress, built on top of a steep hill. In ancient times, the Illyrian and Celtic tribes built their fortresses on what is today known as Motovun. The name is also of Celtic origin, and is derived from the word monton, meaning town on a hill. Today, Motovun is a revisited touristic and cultural center due to its film festival held each year in duration of few days. The whole hinterland region of Istria provides an opportunity to taste and buy truffles, the national Istrian specialty. Also, enjoy a visit to Hum, the smallest town in the world, known for its Glagolitic Alley and its history. Next follows tasting of delightful truffles and local wine with utmost pleasure!
